It is for the papercrafting kind!


I have seen these popsicle cards many different places and always wanted to play with one. Finally, the last time we were at Hollie’s, we did!

I don’t know if this is the scientific correct way to make them as I did use any instructions. I just made one with what was left in my mind from the pictures I saw over the last couple years.

  • I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut at 6 1/2 x 5 1/2 and folded so the card is 5 1/2 by 3 1/4 then took a bit out of the top with the scallop punch.
  • The other three corners were rounded and then the whole outside sponged with Pumpkin Pie ink.
  • The orange from Tart and Tangy was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink onto Whisper White cardstock, punched with the 1 3/8 circle punch and layered on a scallop punched piece of Crushed Curry.
  • Next, stamp your sentiment. I did not do this until after I had mine put together and it was…well…not complete! So, I stamped it on a piece of scrap Pumpkin Pie, punched with the Word Window punch and adhered to my card. You do not need to do this as you will be thinking ahead, so just stamp the Happy Birthday from Very Versatile right on the card:)


  • Determine where you want the ribbon and then cut a slit in the fold line with the craft knife, slip the Pumpkin Pie Stripped Ribbon through the slit and tie. Since the ribbon is not adhered you can move it around to position the knot.
  • Put the stamped orange piece on with dimensionals.
  • Adhere the stick to the inside.
  • Done!

This card fits nicely in a regular business size envelope.

Oh Barb!! That is perfect!! I LOVE it!! I shall be pirating this idea....hee hee hee. The colors are great too. I'm afraid though mine will have to be lime! :)
