I made this card a month or so ago. I love it! But, why oh why did I not write down what I did…I am having a hard time remembering but it went something like this.

  • The distressy background was done on a piece of Regal Rose card stock.
  • First, I sponged the whole thing with Chocolate Chip ink.
  • Next, I VersaMarked up the swirl from Wings of Friendship (new Level 2 set)and used it to stamp off some of the Chocolate Chip.
  • To finish the background, I inked a script stamp with Chocolate Chip and sponged the edges. Sadly, I can’t remember which stamp – probably either from the retired Rustic Rooster or the Fresh Cuts stamp set.
  • The flower is from Flower Fusion on page 180 of the current catalog with a half pearl from the Pretties Kit.
  • I hand cut and scored the stem and leaves from Old Olive and inked with the same color.
  • This was tied with a Chocolate Chip ribbon and layered on a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock punched with the Eyelet Border Punch and sponged with Chocolate Chip.
  • The card was completed by layering this piece on Ruby Red and then a Chocolate Chip card base.

Whew!A more intense card but worth it!

Thanks for looking!
