Autumn Harvest Pheasant

Male cards are hard to make…but when I saw the Autumn Harvest set with a pheasant, I knew it was mine. It was perfect for “my” hunter males!

Ink and Paper Try-its

  • Ink the pheasant using the markers – Old Olive, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie and Really Rust.
  • The pretty bird was layered on Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive cardstock.
  • Soft Suede is the card base and it was stamped with the wheat stamp using VersaMark.Ink for a subtle background
  • I used Stampin’ Pastels to create the colored leafs (see tutorial below) on the Crushed Curry piece .

To make the crushed curry leaf piece

1. Stamp the leaf using VersaMark.

2. Using Qtips, brush the leaves with Old Olive, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Pastels.

3. After the pastels are applied, I sponged the edges using Soft Suede ink.
